Why Parks Building Supplies Bamboo products? The market has been flooded with substandard Bamboo products that have poor quality control. With little to no regulations on bamboo it is important to look at the manufactures warranty, Parks Building Supplies Ltd are proud to offer a 5-15 year residential warranty on their flooring and decking products and a 3-12 year commercial warranty on their flooring and decking products. We also employ people, independent from our factory in China, to do quality checks on all of our products before they are shipped to New Zealand giving us and our customers the ultimate piece of mind on our product quality. Our bamboo flooring and decking both comply and have CE, ISO14001 and ISO 9001 accreditations Should I glue down my bamboo flooring or lay it floating? Any new skirting should be laid down after the flooring has been laid, if you are renovating your home and want to keep your existing skirting we have a range of options that do net require the existing skirting to be taken off or undercut therefore minimising the risk of damaging your existing skirting. Can I put bamboo flooring in wet areas? We do not recommend that you install bamboo flooring in bathrooms as excessive amounts of water can get stuck between the sub flooring and the boards and cause the bamboo flooring to cup and warp. However bamboo flooring can be installed in kitchens. How do I care for my bamboo flooring? It is easy to care for your bamboo flooring, we recommend that you use a micro fibre mop to clean them and there is no need for chemicals of any kind.
